In 2017 the hungarian junior swim team reached the top after they won a historic victory in Indianapolis. Now, two years after the very successful world junior championships the miracle generation has grown up and new talents will be compete, with the best junior swimmers in the world, in the well-trained and beautiful Duna Arena in Budapest.
This magnificent building has become a great home of each aquatic discipline and can host a series of international events. Even though it offers 5,000 seats in legacy mode – as of today –, it can be re-enlarged within months if another major showcase visits the city. (At this great aquatics sight we will welcome the best European athletes for the 2020 LEN European Championships.)
Certainly the Hungarian hospitality, the fans and the mood in the grandstand will usually be fantastic and the audience can see world-class, exciting clashes between 20-25th August, and the young talents will certainly do their best to break in to the swimming elite. So this summer the eyes of the world are on the swimmers.
